The things that make you lose track of time. Not the ones that sound good.
e.g. drawing, facilitating, simplifying
What comes easily to you and what others value in you: often two different lists.
e.g. listening, structuring, encouraging
Where your skills meet real problems, near you or far away.
e.g. guidance, craft, clear language
The quadrant the question above points at, and often the narrowest one.
e.g. advising, teaching, operations
You move through the four quadrants and pick what truly fits you: from curated terms or your own words. No scales, no right or wrong.
The AI connects your choices with your life context and shapes them into a personal report: your patterns, your tensions, your form.
In the chat you ask follow-up questions about your report. Deepening analyses take individual topics further, as deep as you want.
No points, no typology, no platitudes. Your choices are read and taken seriously. This is a sample excerpt, so you know the voice before you have chosen a single word.
Three of your strongest terms sit in the quadrant “what you love”, and only one under “what you can be paid for”. This imbalance is not an oversight. It is the actual finding: you are currently financing a life that barely draws on what matters most to you.
Between “listening” and “structuring” lies a skill you underestimate: opening spaces where others think more clearly. That is not a footnote in your profile, that is probably your profession.
Do not start with the leap. Start with one Thursday a month when you offer what you love to a group, and watch what comes back.
Sample excerpt, fictional, in the style of real analyses. Your report is built from your own words.
Quick, captures the essentials: about one minute. For a first look.
Clear and thorough, the middle way: about three minutes. Most people start here.
Takes its time and draws out everything: about five minutes. When you want to know for sure.
“A reason to get up in the morning.” Nothing more. And everything.

Ikigai (生き甲斐) is Japanese and roughly means “a reason to get up in the morning”. It is the intersection of four areas: what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. Not a promise of happiness. A direction.
You move through four quadrants and pick terms that fit you, or add your own. An AI analysis (Anthropic Claude) connects your choices with your life context into a personal report. You can deepen it in the chat and follow individual topics with deepening analyses.
Choosing takes about 10–15 minutes. The analysis takes one to five minutes depending on the depth you choose. You can pause anytime, your draft is saved.
Application data is stored with Hetzner in Germany. For the AI analysis your inputs are sent to Anthropic; processing in the USA may occur as part of that. There is no advertising and no tracking cookies. When error tracking is enabled, technical error reports (without personal content) may be sent to Sentry. You initiate account deletion yourself and confirm it by email; active data is deleted immediately, backups expire after the retention period.
Registration and the Ikigai test are free. Deepening analyses cost 19 € at the beta introductory price (regularly 39 €). Payments are live: buy credits for deepening right in the app, checkout runs securely via Mollie.
Claude by Anthropic, server-side, not in your browser. You choose the depth: Compact, Balanced, or In-depth. What you type stays your input; what comes back carries your words.
So — what would you do?
